BIOGRAPHY

Thomas Augustine Redlinger was born on June 15, 1993. He was one of five children and the second youngest among four girls. Growing up, Thomas enjoyed playing baseball, playing house (children s game) with his sisters, and loving all those he came in contact with. In high school he participated in Cross Country and Track & Field and became a captain for the team. He was also in Boy Scouts roughly six years and became an Eagle Scout (the highest rank) at the age of 16. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School his senior year in 2011 and went on to study business at San Diego State when he realized in his second year that his passion and love was for music. He then endeavored to seek a career in the music industry.

Thomas was a gifted soul with musical abilities that became more apparent this past year as he spent many hours working and thinking about his music and how he could use it to promote his thoughts and feelings about the world. He played the guitar (acoustic and electric), the piano, and electronic music using the computer. One fond memory of his friends and his family was when he won a beat box competition without any preparation or foreknowledge. Congratulations, Thomas! He was also very talented in film and won a pro-life film contest. Alongside his gifts in film and music, was a good sense of humor. He enjoyed mimicking voices, using wit at times when it was needed, and enjoyed making others laugh.

Charity and poverty were virtues that Thomas embodied. One time he spent a day in Tecate, Mexico feeding the poor with the Trinitarian Sisters. Thomas brought down his favorite hat and sweatshirt and ended up leaving Tecate without them. He said that his experience there with the Sisters was like being in Heaven. For his Eagle Scout project, he and others built a gazebo for Joshua Home, a home for those with AIDS, through Fr. Joe Village. Thomas was a man searching for God and truth. He also was the son that may have said no but did what the Father asked of him (Mt. 21: 29). His searching could be seen in his music and his hope and desire to become a great modern musician. He had a true heart and was well liked by many from all roads of life. He truly was a friend to all and a brother to mankind!

We love you Thomas and we miss you! Until we meet in Heaven, may God s love keep us united on this earth!
